An expert in clinical drug development, he worked more than 30 years for leading pharmaceutical companies (Merck & Co., Astra) and contract research organizations (Quintiles). Dr. Bush has led numerous multidisciplinary drug development teams in the pharmaceutical industry from IND submission through NDA filing. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of clinical drug development programs, project management, clinical operations, medical and scientific services and strategic consulting for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and investment companies. As Executive Vice President of Quintiles CNS Therapeutics Group, Dr. Bush supervised a 400 employee business unit responsible for all of Quintiles CNS and pain related projects. Dr. Bush recently served as chairman of the Government / Industry Collaboration Committee for the NIMH funded MATRICS (Measurement and Treatment Development on Cognition in Schizophrenia) project.
